Dollz Win Against Babe City in a Sold Out Show!
Sioux Falls Roller Dollz took an early lead against Bemidji's Babe City Rollers Saturday night at the Coliseum in front of a sold out crowd and the Dollz could not be caught, racking up points jam after jam. Veteran Jammer Jackie O'Smashus scored 25 points in an early jam and locked down 81 points over all. MVP Jammer Julia Wild earned that title by leading her team in scoring with 91 points including a 19 point jam.
With a commanding lead at the half of 135 to 27, the Sioux Falls Baby Dollz took the track showing off the skills they've learned this season. Ending halftime with a little Cupid Shuffle with the fans, the Roller Dollz came back with the same force to extend their lead.
Defense was key to the Dollz victory and MVP Blocker Bonebrakeher was dishing out the hard hits once again while Casey Lacem strategically held the inside line and bridged for her team. The Dollz really contained Babe City's Jammer, keeping their scoring to a minimum.
This weekend's bout also say Eva MaeHem shaking off injuries and delivering some sweet jams and N.Nita Meds coming out of retirement… and much to Babe City's dismay… she brought her can opener Saturday night.
Final Score – Sioux Falls Roller Dollz 231 Babe City Rollers 85
